Esteemed colleagues,

We are happy to see you in Moscow, and we would like to thank you for participating in this series of events on nuclear nonproliferation now taking place in the Russian capital.

You and I have just attended the opening ceremony for the Moscow Nonproliferation Conference, and you have also agreed to take part in an international conference of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation youth group. This is an important step that will promote continuity and help prepare the younger generation for carrying on the noble cause of banning nuclear testing. We are grateful to the Preparatory Commission, which you head, for helping organise this event.

I would also like to reiterate that we greatly appreciate your personal contribution to supporting the Treaty, and your efforts to enact it as soon as possible; and we confirm our desire for further cooperation on these issues.
